I wonder about the side affects tho.
I worry about those "suicide” genes.

A Million Year Old Alien Technology

Article by: THE DAILY GALAXY
Arthur C Clarke made the famous observation that any sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic. Following in his footsteps, world renowned experts from physicist Sir Martin Rees of Cambridge University to Astrobiologist Paul Davis of Arizona State have asked if we were to encounter alien technology far superior to our own, would we even realize what it was. A technology a million or more years in advance of ours could well appear miraculous.
In fact, Davies writes in his new book, Eerie Silence, that advanced technology might not even be made of matter. That it might have no fixed size or shape; have no well-defined boundaries. Is dynamical on all scales of space and time. Or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern. Does not consist of discrete, separate things; but rather it is a system, or a subtle higher-level correlation of things.
Are matter and information, Davies asks, all there is. Five hundred years ago, he writes, “the very concept of a device manipulating information, or software, would have been incomprehensible. Might there be a still higher level, as yet outside all human experience, that organizes electrons? If so, this "third level” would never me manifest through observations made at the informational level, still less at the matter level.
We should be open to the distinct possibility that advanced alien technology a billion years old may operate at the third, or perhaps even a fourth or fifth level.

The Billion Year Technology Gap

If you were a lizard looking at a human, would you know
what you were looking at?
A fly that lands on a fried chicken wing doesn't know
what a chicken is.
A flea sitting on a cows ass when a car goes by at
70 miles per hour thinks the cows ass is it's whole
world. The car going buy was an unknown blur.
Like the wind.
There are so many things we look at and don't see.

Hawking Says Aliens Will Probably Want To Conquer Us

He's probably right. I just wonder what information
he correlated and extrapolated to come to that conclusion.
There may be ET's out there. Some people think they are already
amungst us. Studying us, changing our culture, our societies,
enhancing our technologies and pushing us toward a singularity.
As Ray Kurzweil indicates.
Our AI technologies are swiftly connecting a lot of
possibilities now.
Everything seems faster.

Choose Oil or Rare Minerals

While we are so concerned about where we get oil
and worry about those that hate us.
China is quietly making sure that all our high tech
purchases are made of minerals that can be found
mostly in China.
There's only one company in the USA that even mines
these rare minerals.

Behind the Air Force's Secret Robotic Space Plane

I think it's strange that our one government can't seem to
cross these vehicles into different agencies. Airforce to NASA.
Same vehicle. Different missions. Save money. What a consept.

Gene Traits

I like the direction this is going in.
I like the idea of genetic improvements.
After all we are spiritual beings in
Earthbound bodies. We might as well have
the best bodies possible. We would live
longer and experience life on a more
consistent level of awareness.

Dr. Cargill Endorses Genetic Transplant

Talk about changing society.
Talk about paradym shift.
Talk about Stepford wives.
Talk about relationships.
Talk about the gaming industry.
Talk about the IT industry.
Talk about the service industry.
Talk about obsolete porn industry.
Talk about obsolete hookers.
Talk about obsolete slaves.
Talk about downloading your soul into one of these.

This happened last year.
I wonder if Oprah will ask them to sign the "no texting" petition?
Oh wait, the navigator was just listening to his Ipod. That's not a

Oh wait. He was studying for a test too.
What about doing his freaking job !!!

Vultures Picking Rubber From Cars

Maybe it's a collective response toward humans for:
1. Invading their territory?
2. They are hinting for food?
(like throw me some frys and I won't screw up you car)
3. Something changed in their environment?
4. It's like Lassie trying to get the humans attention
to go save the kid in the woods?
5. Something in the rubber composite makes them think its food?
(like the "love bugs" think the road is a swamp)
6. They have aquired a taste for rubber because they have eaten
road kill for so many years? (it's a generational thing)

How Your Brain Remembers The Future

My brain definately does this.

1 Year Before The 1906 Earthquake

(thanks to John "the Boston jarhead" for bringing this to my attention)
"In 1905, an unknown cameraman filmed a streetcar trip along San Francisco's Market Street. The following year, the Great Earthquake struck, and he filmed the trip again. This is a five-minute silent film that edits together excerpts of his two films. Footage from the Prelinger Archives, edited by Matt Lake
Music from the live recording of "Ennio After Dark", recorded at Eyedrum in Atlanta, Georgia by the Atlanta band "dp3".

When you think about it this is probably one of the most
profound things you'll ever see. All these people are dead.
from the quake or WW1 six years later or the depression from
1939 or WW2 from 1941 or from old age if they were lucky.

I saw a movie once called "The Grand Tour"
It was about people popping in from the future at
points in the past when disasters were about to take
place. The disasters (earthquakes, wars, sinking ships, floods,
plane crashes, etc..) were a tourist attraction. The time
travelers were tourists from the future coming back for
the experience. The excitement of living thru the event.
Actually, there is probably more truth in that than we know.
I mean, look at the gaming industry. See how we mimic all these
events in games. Our entire history will one day be a game.
It's like looking into an infinity mirror.
You can have an avatar now in a place called "Second Life".
That doesn't even include the games. See "Gamer" or "Surrogate".
If you extrapolate this stuff into the future you have to know that
at some point we upload and download into avatars. Maybe that's
who we really are now. Maybe we should ask Ronald D. Moore about it.
Just one of my radical thoughts. Besides, you are just a figment
of my imagination.
