We seem to be heading full tilt into the "Skynet" senario.

I've always wondered if I'm a figment of somethings imagination.

I can't even extrapolate where this is going.
I'll just have to go along for the ride.

What Is Life ??

If we can ask what is life about ourselves.
Someday the machines will make themselves in our image.

X-51 Waverunner

Here we go...
The flight tests of a missle/aircraft that will
eventually go mach 25.
A missle that will get to its destination faster
to be more leathal when it arrives.
Who needs nukes. The velocity and impact that this
thing will make is like an incoming comet.
Unless of course the Russians or North Koreans or
Iranians get into a missle race and start flinging
EMP devices that knock the Waverunner out.
Bigger better faster.....

DARPA's Brain Implants

This is actually more profound than anything the financial end
of the military has ever done. The possibilities will alter life
as we know it. Soon.

Extra-Dimensional Universes in the Lab

Ya see, this is why we don't see any aliens.
They are eather "cloaked" or they are so advanced
that they easily move among us as at will.

I like anything quantum. I think a lot of questions we

A Million Year Old Alien Technology

Article by: THE DAILY GALAXY
Arthur C Clarke made the famous observation that any sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic. Following in his footsteps, world renowned experts from physicist Sir Martin Rees of Cambridge University to Astrobiologist Paul Davis of Arizona State have asked if we were to encounter alien technology far superior to our own, would we even realize what it was. A technology a million or more years in advance of ours could well appear miraculous.
In fact, Davies writes in his new book, Eerie Silence, that advanced technology might not even be made of matter. That it might have no fixed size or shape; have no well-defined boundaries. Is dynamical on all scales of space and time. Or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern. Does not consist of discrete, separate things; but rather it is a system, or a subtle higher-level correlation of things.
Are matter and information, Davies asks, all there is. Five hundred years ago, he writes, “the very concept of a device manipulating information, or software, would have been incomprehensible. Might there be a still higher level, as yet outside all human experience, that organizes electrons? If so, this "third level” would never me manifest through observations made at the informational level, still less at the matter level.
We should be open to the distinct possibility that advanced alien technology a billion years old may operate at the third, or perhaps even a fourth or fifth level.

The Billion Year Technology Gap

If you were a lizard looking at a human, would you know
what you were looking at?
A fly that lands on a fried chicken wing doesn't know
what a chicken is.
A flea sitting on a cows ass when a car goes by at
70 miles per hour thinks the cows ass is it's whole
world. The car going buy was an unknown blur.
Like the wind.
There are so many things we look at and don't see.

Hawking Says Aliens Will Probably Want To Conquer Us

He's probably right. I just wonder what information
he correlated and extrapolated to come to that conclusion.
There may be ET's out there. Some people think they are already
amungst us. Studying us, changing our culture, our societies,
enhancing our technologies and pushing us toward a singularity.
As Ray Kurzweil indicates.
Our AI technologies are swiftly connecting a lot of
possibilities now.
Everything seems faster.
